Morning with Ebenezer

WAITING FOR THE PROMISE

In fact, we praise the ones who endured the most. You remember how patient Job was and how the Lord finally helped him. The Lord did this because he is so merciful and kind.

James 5:11 CEV

Many of us have laid awake most of the nights because we have been caught between where we came from and where we are going. There are those mid-points in life in which it is returning back is very difficult and you don't have the clue of where you are going.

There are those who have been caught between their past and future in this present. They don't want to let go the past and they fear what the future will bring and hence they are in confusion mode. These moments cause them to lack faith in God, lack patience needed to endure different seasons of life and start finding the ways to help themselves which are contrary to God's.

Job found himself loosing everything which he had worked hard for all his life for a single day. He lost all the wealth which he once had, children, servants and in advance Satan caused painful sores to break out all over Job's body-from head to toe. But still Job waited for the Lord and endured all.(Job 2:7)

This morning, God wants you to know that patience is the gateway to the land of promise. If you will patient on what you are going through right now, trusting God even if you don't hear or see anything happens. God will eventually show up and plead your cause.

Once T.D Jakes said, ''The real test of faith is in facing the silence when God places you on “hold”. It may be God is testing your faith before giving you that promise which he made to you. Do not give up keep on waiting, have faith in God and enduring anything which comes in your way. God is faithful, He will see it through.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may help me to patient during all seasons in my life; knowing that at last you will fulfill all what You have promised me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
