LET US GO
I was glad when they said to
me,
“Let us go to the house of the
Lord.”
Psalm 122:1 NLT
We have many people who call
themselves Christian who don't go to Church at all. There are some folks who
think they are more spiritual in such a way they don't need to go to Church.
There are people who go to Church for show off but in the reality they don't go
to worship as they are required in the Scriptures.
One thing you need to ask
yourself this morning is why do you go to Church? The Psalmist David was glad
when they said to him; let us go into the house of the Lord. He was glad
because he knew that he will go and meet with God himself.
King David was a worshiper;
he loved praising and worshiping God. He humbled himself before God in prayers
and thought his face daily. He knew in house of the Lord there were all the
answers of his questions, solutions of his problems and directions for his
life.
This morning, I want to
encourage you to go to the house of the Lord. I believe the Lord is waiting you
there, that you may hear His word from the mouths of His servants. You will be
encouraged by that word and your soul will be lifted up. It will bring you
comfort and challenge you to live right before the Lord of heavens and earth.
In the Book of Hebrews
10:24-25 we read these wonderful words: "Let us think of ways to motivate
one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting
together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the
day of his return is drawing near." Our Lord Jesus Christ is waiting for
you to go to His house today, so make sure you go there that you may meet with
Him.
****Morning Prayer****
Pray this prayer with me by
faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Dear Father, I want to
experience your presence when I go in your House today. Lord I'm asking that
You may touch me in a new way and fill me with the power of your Holy Spirit.
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
