We are living in the world of technology, the internet helps us to transfer and get information as never before. It helps us in communication and now we are able to connect with anyone in any part of the world in just seconds.

Technology came with a lot of advantages that made our daily lives to be very easy. It has simplified work and reduced many inconveniences that came with doing things manually. Technology enabled us to read, see and hear different things on the internet that may build or ruin our souls.

Now we can connect with people who live in other places of the world through social Medias. As much as this can be useful but it also can be so destructive is no precautions are taken. We hear many cases of people who were scammed by the people they met online. Some were killed because they trusted people who they thought they knew them online; but in the reality they didn't.

This morning, I want you to ask you not to trust everything you read, hear or see online. There so called Social Media envy, this is when some people post things which show their perfect life online; and cause others to feel jealous. There are young men and women who post pictures almost every day to show off their lavish life styles. If you will start comparing yourself with them; you will end up blaming God for giving you the life you have right now instead of being thankful.

There are websites, articles, videos and alike which we as Christians should avoid. We need to learn to use the internet to positively benefit of our own lives and for the extension of the kingdom of God. If you have been bound by the Spirit of pornography, which causes you to go to certain websites; or download certain videos then you need to seek help from the people of God. If you are using the internet in the way that is not right before the Lord; today is your day to repent and ask the Lord to help you use it according to His plan and purpose in your life.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, forgive me for where I have been abusing my freedom of doing things online. Lord I'm asking that You may deliver me from every kind of spirit that I acquired from the internet. Set me free and help me to use the internet according to your will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
