EVIL THOUGHTS
We do live in the world, but we
do not fight in the same way the world fights. We fight with weapons that are
different from those the world uses. Our weapons have power from God that can
destroy the enemy’s strong places. We destroy people’s arguments and every
proud thing that raises itself against the knowledge of God. We capture every
thought and make it give up and obey Christ. We are ready to punish anyone
there who does not obey, but first we want you to obey fully.
2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NCV
One of the weapons that the
enemy is using against us is our own thoughts. He sends attacks in our minds
that we may entertain bad thoughts. Our minds are battlefields where all the
mind battles are being fought.
Our brains produce as many as
50,000 per day, this means between 35 and 48 thoughts per minute per person. In
all these thoughts there are many of them that are from the enemy. These are
like the thoughts of revenge, suicide, fornications, adulteries, hate, thefts,
false witness, and blasphemies.
Paul teaches us that though
we live in the world, but we do not fight in the same way the world fights. Our
weapons have power from God that can destroy the enemy's strong places. We
destroy people's arguments and every proud thing that raises itself against the
knowledge of God. We capture every thought and make it give up and obey
Christ.
This morning, I want to
challenge you to capture and destroy every argument and every proud thing that
raises itself against the knowledge of God inside of you. Make sure you capture
every evil thought and make it give up and obey Christ.
Don't give a room for any
evil thoughts to control your mind, make sure you allow the Spirit of God to
come and take control over your thoughts. Rebuke every kind of demonic thoughts
that are bombing your mind. Let the Lord Jesus through the power of His
precious Spirit to have His way in you today and take control over your mind.
****Morning Prayer****
Pray this prayer with me by
faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Dear Father, I thank You for
your word. Lord I'm asking that You may take control over my thoughts. I rebuke
every kind of evil thought inside of me; and I invite your precious Spirit to
have His way inside of my mind. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
