MISTAKES

For all of us make many mistakes. If someone does not make any mistakes when he speaks, he is perfect and able to control his whole body. 

James 3:2 ISV

People make mistakes in life every day; don't let your mistakes and bad decisions define who you are. Maybe you have made a lot of bad decisions in the past and well you may make some along the way. This does not mean you are a bad person, it just means you are a human with weaknesses. Here is where the Lord comes into the picture; we need Him to rescue us from ourselves. 

We need Him to help us make good decisions that will affect generations to come. We need the direction of the Lord that we may prosper in all things we do in this life. Without Him we will never accomplish anything that will be the blessings to us and people around us. 

Sometimes we may continue blaming ourselves from our past mistakes. This may affect our ability to try new things and reduce our self esteem. Apostle James says that we all make mistakes, and if someone does not make any mistakes when he speaks, he is perfect and able to control his whole body. Here he was taking about mistakes that we may make by our own words, things that we may say and cause pain to others.

This morning, ask the Lord to help learn from your mistakes. I believe whatever we do wrong in life comes with a lesson to help us not repeating the same mistake next time. We sometimes ignore those lessons and repeat those wrong anyway. If we find ourselves doing the same mistakes over and over again, then we need help from the Lord Himself.

I don't know what you have been doing wrong in your life. Maybe you have been making many mistakes by your words, actions or even your way of life. Asks for forgiveness where you have done wrong, learn from your mistakes and be careful not to repeat the same mistakes again. 

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, forgive me for where I have made mistakes in my life. Lord I'm asking that You may help me to learn from my mistakes that I may not bound to repeat them again in the latter days. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
