Morning with Ebenezer

HE WILL REWARD YOU

But you should be strong. Don’t give up, because you will get a reward for your good work.

2 Chronicles 15:7 NCV

Have you ever had a job which had no pay? Have you ever worked long hours far away from your family and end up with nothing at the end of the day? Well, maybe you have done some charity works that had no pay in the past. We don't count charity works as jobs because many people do it by volunteering.

We have many people in the body of Christ who do the work of God. We have apostles who plant churches in different parts of the world. Prophets, who strengthen, encourage and comfort the church. Evangelists who proclaim the message of salvation that obtained through repentance throughout the world. We have pastors who take care the flock of God and teachers who feed the church with the knowledge of truth.

All of these ministries are there to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.( Ephesians 4:11-13)

This morning, I want you to know that you will get a reward from God for your good work. Maybe you don't operate in any of those five-fold ministries that I have mentioned above. I believe there is something you are doing for the body of Christ that edifies the whole body even if no one seems to recognize your contribution.

I want you to know that God sees and knows your work and contribution in the body of believers. God will one day recognized what you did in the background before His angels in heaven and His saints. Keep up the good work, know that whatever you are going through now in life is the preparing you to experience God in higher dimensions in life.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may continue to strengthen me that I may used in your kingdom according to your will. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
