Morning with Ebenezer

THE POTTER

And yet, O LORD, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.

Isaiah 64:8 NLT

We have our Father who is in heaven; He is the one who created all of us with His image and likeness. Everyone who you have ever seen on the face of this earth has been created by God. He has been fashioned and formed by His hands.

God describes Himself in the Scriptures as the potter and we are clay in His hands. As the way the potter has the power over the clay and he can make anything out of it. It is the same to our God; He has a power over each one of us. He can make anything out of us, through us and inside of us.

If God has promised to prosper you and give you peace; then He sees you doing evil things and not obeying Him. He will not bless you as He has promised. If He has spoken against you, that He will destroy you for your sins and there will be no place for you. If you will change your heart, life and stop doing evil things. God will change His mind and He will not bring on you the disaster He has planned.

This morning, I want to encourage you to fear God. Don't take the things of God lightly; know that He is the one who will judge the dead and the living on the Last Day. He will judge you according to what you have done in the flesh whether good or bad. Think about that and start fearing Him knowing that He has the power to kill you and throw you into hell.

If you will walk in Christ Jesus and do the will of the Father. The Lord will be with you; He will strengthen you and help you overcome evil. He will fight your battles and work on your behalf. He will bless you and the descendants after you. He will be the enemy of your enemies and a friend of your friends.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, help me to fear You and do your will. I surrender my life to You, I'm asking that You may be the Lord and Savior of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
