Morning with Ebenezer

WALK BY FAITH

He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Matthew 17:20 NIV

Someone once said, "Faith is the bird that feels the light and sings while the dawn is still dark". You will be amazed how things that can happen when a little faith is applied. There are many great things happen when someone decides to put faith in God.

Many Christians read Scriptures but they don't apply them as they supposed to. They read about faith but they don't go out and apply that faith in their situations. When they feel like they lack enough faith to do some things in their lives. They don't go and increase their knowledge of Scriptures and ask God to increase their faith.

We are living in a time that many people like to be prayed for rather than to pray for others. Many Christians seek powerful ministers to pray for them because they are so lazy to stand for themselves in prayers. Some believe that God is talking to some people but He will never talk to them.

This morning, I want to encourage you to change your mindset and make a commitment to walk by faith. As you start this New Year, try to change the way you think toward yourself and toward others. Don't treat problems as predators that will come to finish you off; but treat problems as a chance for you to exercise your faith.

You will never grow and mature in Christ if you will work in a dormant faith. If your faith will remain to be within you and never have courage to exercise it outside. Then nothing will be moved in your life and fear will take a total control over your life. Walk by faith in this year and don't let your sight mislead you from the purpose of God in your life.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, help me to walk by faith and not by sight in this whole year and to the years to come. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
