Morning with Ebenezer

REDEEM TIME

Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 5:16 KJV

In this world we have been given a certain amount of time to live. No one knows the end of his or her time but at least we are sure that God planned our lives in limited amount of time. The writer of the Book of Ecclesiastes says, “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2)

There are things that the Lord planned for us even before we were born. There was a purpose in God's mind for you even before you parents met. God knew the time that He will give you will be enough for you to fulfill whatsoever He wanted you to do in this life.

We see people who are successful in their works and others who end up dying sad and poor. If you look close enough you will notice that these people somewhere when they were growing up; they were given the same opportunities. Some knew to how to making the most of every opportunity while others complained and entertained laziness.

This morning, I want to remind you to redeem the time because the days are evil. I believe you can reach your dreams in life and accomplish all your goals if you will learn to use the time that God has given you. If you work hard and be serious in your dealings; God will bless the work of your hands and you will have successful life.

There are some people who used their time well when they were in school. Some people laughed at them but now they are the ones who hold important positions in the society. The enemy will fight with you in this area of time; because He doesn't want you to redeem it and reach where God wants you to be. Don't give Him a chance, use your time properly and maximize every opportunity that will come in your way.
