ASK THE FATHER TO REVEAL JESUS

“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.

John 6:44 NIV

Life is a journey that composed by many events which define who we are in life. People passed through different experiences that help them to master their environments better as they grow older. They say with age comes wisdom but I have learnt that there are a certain kind of wisdom that is obtained by reading the word of God.

There is wisdom that is obtained by walking with God in life. We have many people who are well advanced in age but they do shameful things in the society. We have people who are well educated and respected in the society but who still denied the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

We have rich people, people who hold important positions in the society; who still don't understand that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life and no one goes to the Father except through Him. It takes God himself to reveal Jesus in our lives. It is not possible for someone to know Jesus, if the Father won't draw that person to His Son.

This morning, I want to encourage you to ask the Father to reveal Jesus to you. You can read many books; listen to powerful preachers and pray all kinds of prayers known but you need the Father to reveal His Son to you. He will reveal Jesus in the way you will understand His plan and purpose in your life.

The Father can reveal Jesus to you through the power of His Holy Spirit. If you want to understand Jesus in the Scriptures then you need Holy Spirit to help you understand Him. If you are reading the Bible and you find hard to understand what is written, ask the Father to reveal what is hidden in the Scriptures through the power of His Spirit. He is faithful God; He will teach you all you need to know that you may live a victorious life in Christ Jesus.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may reveal Jesus in my life through the power of your Holy Spirit. Open my mind that I may understand Scriptures that I may walk according to the will of the Father. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
