Morning with Ebenezer

NEW YEAR

“Arise, shine, for your light has come,

    and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.

 See, darkness covers the earth

    and thick darkness is over the peoples,

but the Lord rises upon you

    and his glory appears over you.

Isaiah 60:1-2 NIV

Charles Lamb one day said, “New Year's Day is every man's birthday.” We all have our dates of birth; but New Year is new beginning for all of us. If you are blessed enough to see the New Year, then there is hope that your life will change for the better in the coming year compared to a previous year.

It's like you have been given a chance to start over and corrects all the wrongs you did in the previous year or years. I believe is a sign that still there is a purpose of God for you to fulfill and that's why God has allowed you to see that particular year. 

Many people have different ways of celebrating New Years; but we who are in Christ Jesus need to thank God for another opportunity to walk in His will over our lives. Maybe there are some things you intended to do last year and you didn't get them done. Maybe there are promises you made to people and you failed to fulfill them. Some made promises to the Lord and they didn't see them through. In this year, you have been given a second change to make things right.

This morning, God wants you to arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. God is going to do a new thing for you in the coming year. He going to open doors that the enemy has been closing for years. He is going to take places that you won't imagine that you will ever go in your lifetime.

The favor of our Lord Jesus Christ will be upon you, your family and all those who you love. God is going to break that yoke of rejection that has been putting you down all these years. God is going to take you in a higher dimension of grace and cause you to understand His plan and purpose over your life. I prophesy that you will see God in the year 2015. I prophesy that God will be with you in everything you do and give you understanding of all things.

I prophesy that God will keep you safe from all the terrors of the enemy, and give you long and healthy life. God is going to prosper you in the way that you won't be able to explain. He will command out of season miracles to come to you, and order the wealth of the wicked to come to your tents. He will heal your family, relatives and friends for your sake and cause you to be a blessing to all people who will come in your life. I want to encourage you to have faith in God that He will not allow you to die before your time, and He is going to fulfill the number of your days. Happy New Year!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I thank You for the year 2014. Lord I'm asking that your will be done in the year 2015. I want to see you as never before. Help me to be a good follower of my Lord Jesus Christ that I may do all what my Master commands me to do. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
