Morning with Ebenezer

DO NOT JUDGE

“Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.

Matthew 7:1-2 NASB

We are living in the world that people tend to judge others without knowing all the facts. Some judge others by the color of their skin, accent of their languages or a place of their origin. Sometimes we judge people based on their religious beliefs and the societies that they came from.

In my personal life I have judged many people wrongly and end up feeling bad while repenting for my snap judgments. I have learned that most of our judgments are not correct; and that’s why Jesus asked us not to judge that we may not be judged. He said for in the way we judge, we will be judged; and by our standard of measure, it will be measured to us.

The world is full of people who judge others on every opportunity they get in life. In the church we have people who have judgmental attitude towards everyone. They put themselves in the perfect position and try to convince everyone that they don’t error; but everyone else does error. This judgmental attitude cause them to be blind when it comes to their weaknesses and shortcomings; because they are busy spending all their time pointing fingers to others.

This morning, I just want to ask you to stop judging. People are tired of being judged and they need people who will understand and encourage them in their walk with the Lord. We have been pushing away many people from the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ; because we spend a lot of time judging them rather than praying for them and teaching them the word of truth.

Most of the time we jump into conclusions of many things that we don’t real understand; we need to ask the Lord to help us in this area of judging. If we will learn to love people, then will stop judging them and starting to see them in the eyes of love. Love will teach us to be patient with everyone around us and offer our help without judging them.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer….

Dear Heavenly Father, forgive me for judging others. Help me to be able to love everyone who comes in my life unconditionally that I may live according to the law that You have given me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
