Morning with Ebenezer

PRAY FOR THEM

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.

2 Corinthians 4:3-5 NIV

The Bible calls Satan a god of this world who has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the Gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. In our families and communities we have many members who don't want to hear about the Gospel or anything that concerns Jesus.

Sometimes we find ourselves busy with our daily schedules; and totally forget about these unsaved loved ones. We forget that if they will die in sin, they will spend the whole eternity without God. They will face the punishment that was prepared for the devil and his fallen angels. They will spend the whole eternity in the lake of fire together with those who denied God and His Son Jesus in this life.

Before Jesus ascended to the Father said these words: He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned, Mark 16:15-16. This is called the Great Commission that the resurrected Jesus Christ gave to His disciples which was passed down to us that we should spread the Gospel to all the nations of the world.

This morning, I want to encourage you to pray for your unsaved loved ones that they may be saved. Pray that they may accept the teachings of the Gospel and accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of their lives. Pray that God who said, ‘Let light shine out of darkness', may make His light to shine in their hearts, that they may get the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

If you hope to inherit the kingdom of God then make sure that your loved ones inherit that kingdom with you. You don't have to be a preacher to convince them to accept Christ. What you need to do is to tell them a simple message that Jesus came in the flesh; lived among us, died on the cross for our sins and on the third day He rose from the grave. If they will confess with their mouths, "Jesus is Lord,'' and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead, they will be saved.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I pray for the salvation of my unsaved loved ones (mention them.....). Lord I'm asking that You may save them from sin and give them the right to be called the children of God. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
