Morning with Ebenezer

PAIN

In the same way I will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born,” says the Lord. “If I cause you the pain, I will not stop you from giving birth to your new nation,” says your God.

Isaiah 66:9 NCV

Maybe you have been experiencing sleepless nights; because there is something bothering you inside. Maybe someone has given you an attitude at your work; or a certain Christian has betrayed your trust by sharing your secrets with others.

It may be you can't sleep because you are facing hardships in your love relationship. You always found yourself ending up with wrong men or women in your life. Maybe someone hurt you some years ago and it seems every time you remember what he did to you; you end up feeling pain and resentment toward that person.

Maybe your life came out different from your expectations; five years ago you had a certain picture that you wanted to see now but things are different. Maybe you have been facing family disputes for a while now; and you found yourself in the middle of family drama that you can't handle any more. Perhaps time has gone and no one seems to take you serious and ask your hand for marriage; and this may make you feel unwanted and rejected in the community.

This morning, I'm here to tell you that God will not cause pain without allowing something new to be born. He cause pain to a pregnant woman and allow her to give birth to a new child in this world. Maybe you have been meeting those wrong people that you may be able to appreciate when God allow the right people to come in your life.

It may be true that someone betrayed your trust and shared things that you didn't want people to know; but God allowed it that you may stop trusting that person because he is not a friend you once thought he is. Anything that God allow to cause pain in your life has its reason behind. It may be to help us to stop being proud and learn to humble ourselves before everyone.

Sometimes He takes away all people we once put our trust in them that we may learn to put our trust in Him alone. Sometimes He allows financial difficulties that He may reveal Himself as our provider; when He allows diseases to come in our lives that He may reveal Himself as our healer. Jesus is a friend who sticks closer than a brother, if you surrender your life to Him; then in His time He will give you the desires of your heart.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, I'm asking that You may heal my pain and make me whole. Lord I surrender everything in your hands; may your will be fulfilled in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
