HAVE FAITH

And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says.  And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?

Luke 18:6-9 NIV

The Bible teaches us to pray always and not to give up. It encourages us to pray in all occasions and in everything to give thanks to the Lord for His mercies and grace towards us. Our constant prayers are pleasing to our God who is always ready to hear our cries for He always thinking about us and watching everything that concerns us.

“Son of Man” is a title Jesus used for himself. The Bible asks, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth? We see as days go by the faith of many is diminishing; people do things according to the dictates of their own hearts. There are those who once believed in God starts developing some doubts; and invest their energy more in the things of this world.

People don't go into the houses of God, the young ones don't respect elders, the orphans and widows are denied their rights. Many are selfish and the love of many has gone cold. Some started with fire when they received Jesus but now for them salvation is no longer exciting and as sweet as they once enjoyed. Things of God seem to be boring and as days go by many are starting to compromise; and reduce their standards to level themselves with the world.

This morning, I want to encourage you to put your faith in the Son of Man. When you go to God in prayers, you need to develop the sense of belief; and believe without a doubt that God hears your prayers and He is going to answer them. You need to believe if you follow the Bible of principles of giving, this including tithing and giving for the Gospel; you will be blessed by God according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Have faith in the name of Jesus, have faith in God. When you pray for other people needs, have faith that God will hear you and He is going to meet their needs. When you pray for your needs have faith that God hears you and He is going to meet all of your needs. When you pray for your present or future spouse; have faith that God is going to do according to your prayers because He is a faithful God. Believe the word of God and put everything you read in it to practices and indeed you will see the powerful hand of God in your life.

Dear Heavenly Father, I will put my faith in You. I will have faith in the Name of Jesus; and I will put my trust in your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
