Morning with Ebenezer

HE FORGIVES

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Psalm 103:11-12 NIV

The Bible talks about the love of God. It says that the love of God for us has been demonstrated through Jesus when He came in the flesh and died for us in the cross. That showed how much God was willing to God to save us and show His great love for us all.

Those who gave their lives to the Lord are called children of God. The Bible says: As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him, for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust. Psalm 103:13-14 The Lord feels compassion on you, He knows your struggles as a human being and He understands all that you are going through in your life.

Psalmist David compares the height of the love of God as the way the heavens are above the earth. If you lift your eyes up on the sky, you will see immeasurable height from where you stand to the clouds. So that distance you see which you cannot find a ladder enough to climb that you may reach its limit; is the same with the love of God that He has for you.

This morning, I just want you to know that God forgives sin. When God forgives sin, He put them as far as the east from the west. He don’t remember them anymore and come back to condemn you for your sins. He forgives you once and for all and opens a new chapter with you.

So if you are facing any difficulties in your life the cause is not your previous sins. It may be the consequences of your sins but it is not because God is mad at you or anything like that. You may be reaping what you sow the time you didn't know God, but you need to know that against all odds God loves you and He will help you overcome whatsoever you are facing.

****Morning Prayer***

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer….

Dear Father, I thank You for forgiving me. Lord I’m asking that You may help me to forgive my neighbor as the way You have forgiven me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
