Morning with Ebenezer

YOU SHALL NOT LACK

Even strong lions get weak and hungry, but those who go to the Lord for help will have every good thing.

Psalm 34:10 ERV

Lion is considered as the most noble wild beast, who can get a prey easily compared to other wild beasts. Due to the powerful legs, strong jaw, and long canine teeth, the lion can bring down and kill a large prey. But there reach a time that even a lion who has all of these unique characteristics can fail to get food.

In life there are those things which we want and those which we need. What I have learned is that those who had put their trust in the Lord will find themselves lacking anything; God will make sure that they get all that they need in life and when they continue keeping their faith. God will one day trust them with the things which they wanted too.

Many of us pray that God may give us the spouses which we want, lay out the features including the level of education, family background and financial status. Most of the time God bring those people who we needed but not the people who we wanted. For the wise it will be for their advantage because they will know and understand the will of God in their lives; but for the fool it will be for their disadvantage because they will continue sticking in their choices which later will prove failure.

This morning, God wants you to know that you shall not lack anything if you put your trust in Him. He wants you to understand that you don't need to seek the good things which you want in life; but instead use and appreciate what He has already provide for you. Praising Him for all that He has done for you, thanking Him for his kindness and thereby He will take you to the next level of life.

St Francis of Assisi said,'Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible''. When you teach your soul to appreciate even what you call small thing which the Lord has placed in your life, then maximize it and thank the Lord because of it. The Lord will supply to you all of your needs because who has been faithful in the small things, will be also be faithful in the large things.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord please forgiven me for seeking things which are too high for me. Please help me to appreciate things which you have given me freely in this life, knowing You will continue providing for my needs according to your riches and glory in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
