ONE DAY AT A TIME

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Matthew 6:34 NKJV

I remember there was a day when I was stressed out, confused and I had no direction about what I will do next. I was worried about things which will take place in the near future; and in my desperation I turned to the Lord and ask Him to give me a breakthrough.

The Lord spoke to me and said,'' Son you need to take one day at a time''. These words hit the deepest parts of me and my eyes were opened and I started meditating the meaning of these words. Later I came to understand that I was worrying about tomorrow which is not yet here. I came to understand even yesterday I had the same thoughts of worrying about today; and today has come and God has already done all things according to His will.

The Lord put in my remembrance the words which He told His disciples; that they should not worry about tomorrow. For tomorrow will worry about it's own things. Today's trouble is enough for today. This means if we worry about tomorrow, we force ourselves carrying tomorrow burdens in today's. Today has it's own trouble which needs your complete attention to handle them; adding tomorrow will cause you to waste today's strength on a not yet tomorrow which you are not even sure you will be there.

This morning, God wants you to take one day at a time. Lynda Randle sang these words: One day at a time, sweet Jesus. That's all I'm asking from you. Give me the strength to do everything that I have to do.Yesterday's gone sweet Jesus, And tomorrow may never be mine. Help me today Show me the way, One day at a time.

You need to learn to take one day a time, it will help you to deliver all that you needed today. It will help you to handle all what you are supposed to take care today. It will increase your trust to the Lord that He has your tomorrow. The enemy won't take away the joy of your salvation because you will rejoice for today and trust God for tomorrow. May the God of Jesus Christ, Father of glory teach you to live one day at a time.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. I'm only human; I'm just a man/woman, help me believe in what I could be and all that I am. Show me the stairway I have to climb. Lord for my sake teach me to take one day at a time.In Jesus' Name, Amen.
