Morning with Ebenezer

WHERE IS YOUR FAITH

But He said to them, “Where is your faith?”

And they were afraid, and marveled, saying to one another, “Who can this be? For He commands even the winds and water, and they obey Him!”

Luke 8:25 NKJV

There are things which happen in life and cause most of us to lack faith in God. There are those which happen to our grand parents, then to our parents and final to us. There are those hereditary diseases which our parents suffered and we are experiencing the same symptoms or we also suffer the same.

We used to have one of the family member who had some kind of bad behavior for years; now you have find your sons or daughter going to the same direction. There are those families which all of the women give birth before marriage, no one is being given to marriage as the custom and those who are given experience abusive relationships.

In these kind of environments it is difficult even for saints to put their trust completely to God that He is able to change the situation. The enemy will keep convincing that it is supposed to be this way, there is nothing which you can do. By time we tend to give in to the reality which we see and ignore the  actual reality which is seen by the eyes of faith in God.

This morning, God is asking you where is your faith? Jesus asked His his disciples this question after He calmed the storms which wanted to swap the boat which Jesus was with His disciples. His disciples cried for help thinking that they were drown, but Jesus rose up and rebuked the storm, and asked them where is your faith?

If you are facing those kind of discouragement hereditary events, you don't need to loose hope in God. You need to know that God was there when the first member of your family was born, He has been there all that time and He will be there until the end. Ask Him to intervene and fix the problem, nothing is too big to God. Don't tell God how big is your storm is, you need to tell the storm how big is your God. Refuse to continue being the slave of that series of hereditary events, and ask God to start a new beginning in your family.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I speak life to my family,  I refuse to continue living in the curses and diseases of my fore fathers. I speak health, restoration and prosperity. No one will die in the midst of his days, and they will be no one who will suffer miscarriage or barren in my family. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
