SAY YOUR PRICE

Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver. From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.

The devil knew that we will be redeemed by price, He also set a price to hinder the work of redemption. He knew that there was a price to buy one of the twelve that He may betray the Lord, the devil knew that Jesus will die like everybody else and hence no one will be able to save the lost humankind, while ignore the fact the He will rise again to life.

Paul the Apostle in His letter to Corinthians argues that we should flee from sexual immorality because our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Then He said we were bought by price so we should honor God with our bodies. Thirty pieces of silver was the price of Judah Iscariot to betray our Lord, and since then the devil has been buying a lost man by a certain price that he may deny his creator.(1 Corinthians 6:!2-20, italics added)

There are some whose price is fame, when they get to be known they completely forget the Lord. Some are faithful to the Lord while they are still single, but when they get married they forget the Lord who gave them their spouses. I have seen some whose set price was education, the time they got education they stop believing the truth of the Gospel and categorized it as one foolish doctrines reserved for frustrated people.

This morning, God wants you to know that the price of your salvation is the blood of Jesus. The devil will come to set a price for you if you will never know the real price which bought you. Many young women have been bought by cars, houses and promotions at work because they did not know they are worth far more than anything in this world.

Many young men have been bought by sex, fame, alcohol, money and beauty and forget what the Lord did for them. The devil will continue setting price for you, changing them everyday until he gets your actual price. But for those who knows that their price is the blood of Jesus, that they were redeemed from sin, death, and curses which were spring them down!

They know to keep their original price, they don't waver nor go astray. They know that the blood did it all, the blood set us free, broke the middle wall of separation which kept us away from God. It was the blood which was shed for our sins, and that is our price which the devil can't pay. If anyone comes with a price less than the blood of Jesus, just know that it is not enough to buy you and your answer should be "NO". God bless you.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I refuse to accept any kind of price which the devil have been offering for my life. I will not exchange my life for anything, because I'm paid off by your blood. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
