Morning with Ebenezer

FAR FROM HIS LOVE

Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened,

That it cannot save;
Nor His ear heavy,
That it cannot hear.
But your iniquities have separated you from your God;
And your sins have hidden His face from you,
So that He will not hear.

Isaiah 59:1-2 NKJV

Have you ever felt like you are far from the love of God? Most of the Christians face this kind of experience  day to day and most of the time they feel shy to confess it to men and women of God. St. Augustine one day said, God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.

Most of the time when we sin, there is that feeling that God has left us. We start wondering around and try to hide from the face of God. We tend to skip watching Christian Channels and concentrate in other programs. In the mean time we tend to hide the Bible and put it under somethings in order we may not see that word, "HOLY BIBLE''.

During this time, the devil keeps on telling us how bad we are and sinner before the sight of God. He keeps on condemning us and show us how much we don't deserve the love of God. Then we start justifying what we have done, words like: No one is perfect, I only sinned once, even Apostles in the Bible sinned, this is a small sin, Jesus knows I'm weak.

This morning, God wants you to know that your sins are the ones which separate you from His love. He loved you while you were a sinner, He sent people that they may preach to you the Gospel of Jesus. It was not easy for you to accept the truth because of the death ropes which were all around you; but He kept on sending His servants until the day you said Yes to Jesus.

This God who loved you before, He is the same God who loves you now. His love supplier for you is the same. He has the whole universe to take care but still He has more than enough time for you. When you cry He hears, when you speak He listens.

He loves each one of us as if there were only one of us. He loves you like the way He loved Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Peter the Apostle, John the revelator, Philip the Evangelist and Paul of Tartus. Stay in His love, stop justifying sin; and when you sin repent as quick as possible that you may be forgiven.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Now I know that You are not far from me but my sins separate me from You. Forgive me for justifying sins, help me to have a repentant heart that I may be a faithful Child in your Kingdom. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
