Morning with Ebenezer

GODLINESS

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

1 Timothy 4:8 NIV

If you will ask young women who are single, there will tell you that they will love to have a God fearing husband one day. Now days even bosses like to have workers who are born again because many of them have proved be faithful and hard workers.

The world is in need of people who have the fear of God inside of them. We are facing corruption in our governments and private sectors because people do not fear God. There is high rate of unfaithfulness in marriages because partners lack the fear of God inside of them.

Godliness holding promise for both the present life and the life to come; this means it brings you blessings in this life and it will prove you worth to inherit the Kingdom of God. People who lived this kind of life prospered in everything which they did; they had favor before God and before their enemies too.

This morning, I want to encourage you to continue living the life worth of your calling. Jesus died that we may die to sins and live for righteousness. People will understand that you are called by the name of the Lord; if you will live according to what the word of God says.

Our actions speaks louder than our words. Our attitude define who we are, even if will call ourselves Christians but still having the attitude of the unbelievers; we deceive ourselves. The Church needs people who will not only speak the word of God but also live it. It needs people who will be the good example out there in the world; that we may not only win sinners through our words but our behaviors too!

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may give me strength to live the life of fearing You. Give me the desire to be like You more and more in every new day. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
