Morning with Ebenezer

LOVE OF GOD

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,  neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39 NIV

We have seen and read about who we so call martyrs of faith, who were killed because of the testimony of Jesus. Who did not love their life unto death, the good example of those martyrs of faith were the Apostles of Jesus. Every one of them was killed in very sadness way as recorded in the Bible and some History books except John the Revelator who died a natural manner of death.

Peter was crucified head down at his own request, Andrew was tied by ropes on x-shaped cross were he hung 2 days to expire, James was beheaded with sword, John thrown in boiling oil but unharmed and died in the natural death later,Philip of Bethsaida was crucified, Bartholomew ( Nathaniel) beaten, flayed and crucified head down. Thomas pierced with idolatrous priests and burned up in oven, Matthew(Levi) of Capernaum (the Bible writer) axed to death with halberd.

James( Bible writer, half brother of Jesus) throw down from the temple tower and he was not dead so clubbed to death with a fullers club at age of 94. Jude( Thaddeus,,,Judas Lebbaeus crucified, Simon the Zealot crucified. Judas Iscariot suicide, Matthias( 11 remained apostles chosen him to replace Judas) stoned and beheaded. Paul who was chosen by the resurrected Jesus on the way to Damascus was beheaded.

All of those died in faith, they trusted who have called them that he was faithful. They did not fear men, they did not fear death because they knew to die in the body is to be present with the Lord( 2 Cor 5:8). As Paul once said, ''For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.'' Philippians 1:21.

This morning I want to encourage you, that God loves you and nothing shall separate you from His love. He has a plan for your life, He is going to use you for His glory. If you hear him calling you do not be afraid to say, ''Yes Lord, here I am'': while knowing as He was with those apostles in the Bible, He will also be with you and sustain you in every way that you may carry His name whenever He will send you to go.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. I'm here Lord, may your will be done in my life from this day forward and to the days to come. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
