This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24 NKJV
Paul was one of the great Apostle of all time. His name changed from Saul to Paul, after his conversion on the Damascus road(Acts 9:1-9).He wrote different powerful Epistles which were letters written to the churches during that time. God used Paul to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles like me and you and through his endless efforts we came to know our Lord Jesus Christ.
He wrote in the book of Philippians 4:4, Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice. He taught the Philippians to rejoice in the Lord, to rejoice in the Lord of their salvation not when they were in fellowship with the believers alone but always in every season of their lives.
The Psalmist David knew the secret of rejoicing, in each new day he rejoicing in the Lord his God. He knew if the Lord was kind enough to allow him to see another new day, that means He had a plan in store for him. He knew that God had something in mind and that why He allowed David to see another new day.
God has a plan for you. He has something in mind just for you; that's why He has allowed you to see this day. He has intended something supernatural for you today, He don't want today to be like some other old days of yours which all things were just the same. He wants you to start rejoicing and thanking Him for the gift of life and for the chance to see a new day.
When we rejoice in our difficulties, we make Satan weak. When we praise God for the things which Eye has not seen, nor ear heard Nor have entered into the heart of man .The things which God has prepared for those who love Him(1 Cor 2:9). We declare our end before the beginning, we declare our victory before the end of the war.
