Morning with Ebenezer

WRITE DOWN THE VISION

Then the Lord answered me and said
“Write the vision
 And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 NKJV

Habakkuk was one of the 12 Minor Prophets in the Bible. It is believed he lived 600 BC, he lived in the time which the children of Israelites where taken to Exile in Babylon. In his time there were injustice among his people and the Prophet asked God about the future of His people Israel.

The LORD replied by giving him a vision. He commanded him to write that vision down because it was the vision of the appointed time. This vision explained the future of nation of Israel and their victory against their enemies Babylonians which was against their present circumstances under the leadership of Nebuchadnezzar II.

This morning, you may be wondering in the cross ways like the way Habakkuk did before he knew the plan of God for his people. But when he asked God, God gave him a vision about the future which was quite different from his present days reality. There are some of us who need to ask God about our future, to ask Him about what He wants us to do in life. The time He will come and answer us, we need to remember to write down all what He has said to us and continue to wait for the promise until when it will come to pass.

For those who had their visions, who God has already given their assignments. This is the time for you to write it down, wait for that vision while you are praying for it and preparing for what God said you will become. It may take long time before it comes to be a reality to you; but one thing you need to understand is that, whatsoever which God has promised you in your life it will come to pass no matter how long it will take because God is not a man that He should lie.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your love. Lord am asking that you may give a vision on what you need me to do in my life for your kingdom. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
