OUR SHALOM

For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.
Ephesians 2: 14-16 NKJV

According to Strong's Concordance 7965 - Hebrew Shalom ..... A word study in the New King James version for SHALOM says: Completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord.Shalom comes from a root verb shalom meaning to be complete,perfect and full. 

The Bible calls Jesus who is Yeshua in Hebrew, Prince of Peace or Sar Shalom in Hebrew. This Jesus of Nazareth, the son of carpenter who was born by a virgin in the Bethlehem of Judea during the time of king Herod. He came to be our shalom, to bring us the Gentiles in flesh who at once we did not know God and had no promises separated by the sins of our flesh. He came and paid the price of our peace through  His death on the cross as the eagle Prophet Isaiah prophesied 700 years before Christ.

But he was pierced for our transgressions,
 he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed. 
Isaiah 53:5 NIV

This morning you may be among many people in this world who day and night are seeking for peace, completeness, welfare, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest and harmony. Many people in our modern world seek those things through material possessions, sex, entertainment and some through witchcraft acts. But those things do nothing to fill that great desire of peace in our soul that only God can fill. Those things only cause distraction and prevent us from finding true peace.

There is only one way to true peace which is in the Word of God, through the person of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Jesus is our Shalom, He can satisfies you more than a man or a woman can do, He can complete you more than a great wealth and fame can offer. His name is Jesus, the Son of Living God who is the same yesterday, today and forever will be. Give him a chance in your heart and I assure you that your life will never be the same again.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. This morning I surrender all my being into your hands, I'm asking that You may give me your peace in exchange that I may live a victorious life in all my days under the sun. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
