PROMOTION 

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Psalm 75:6-7 KJV

There are several meaning of promotion, but here the Bible used the word as the act of raising in rank or position. We have seen in different places in our daily life from our families to where we go and do our daily work. There is a clear seen struggle between people who are in low position who want to go higher; in the same time the struggle of folks in the higher position who want to maintain their status.

This kind of struggle made even we so call Christians to engage themselves in different ungodly ways that they make get promotion. Some have used corruption as the tool to get them there, some they have used their bodies [offering sex] to help them get that promotion and other even they used witchcraft to help them get a certain kind of title. This power struggle started when Lucifer the fallen angel (Satan), who wanted to be worshiped as God and which made him to convince one third of the Angels to go against Elohim, who is the God the creator for the sake of power (Ezekiel 28).

This means if there is a constant fight in you to be known, seen,  to be higher than all people and to have more influence than others. This sign is not good and if you are feeling that way inside of you; it is about time now you need to start fighting with that desire in you because it is not from Jehovah, who is LORD our God but it is from the Evil one who was the father and founder of rebellion and pride.

This morning, the Lord has sent me to tell you this,'' Your promotion is not coming from neither the east, nor from the west, nor from the south but your promotion comes from the north''.The Bible mentioned three corners which are east, west and south but it left north, why? Because north is where God is, north is above, north is where heaven is found. In other words your promotion comes from high, comes from heaven where your God sits.

Stop struggling about who you will be, what you should do to be known or anything like those stuffs. The Bible says,"A man gift makes room for him and brings him before the great'', (Proverbs 18:16). Whatever God has put inside of you, it is the one which God will use to promote you in his time and his right season. You shall surely stand before great men and women if you will let God direct your steps according to His timeline.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord forgive me for using improper ways as the short cut to my promotion. Now I know promotion comes from You God, it comes from above and through my gift I will be promoted. Help me to live what I hear though your Word.In Jesus' Name, Amen.
