Morning with Ebenezer

IT'S NOT TOO LATE

Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

Matthew 9:35-38 NIV

It may happen you had a calling of God since you were a child. Many times God has called you, confirm it through different people and circumstances in your life but you have been neglecting to obey the voice of God. Some before going to collage to study those things which you are doing now, you heard the voice of God directing you to do study another field which would help you in the things which God you to do in life.

Some until now we still hear a voice inside of us, speaking loud and clear that God wants us in the ministry. Being in the middle of your carrier, having dreams in life. Fear of losing financial security and the fear of being taken from our comfort zone; these are the ones which make us to opt continue doing what we are doing avoid taking to much risk which will take us away from our good lives. Jesus said,''“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.

There is another group of aged people, who some are in their late thirties, forties, and fifties and e.t.c; who now they start regretting that they are too late, they can not serve God in that kind of age. Some they wish they would be born again when they were younger that they could have time to save Him more. The devil has used this as an excuse of keeping them away precious people of God from ministry and as the result we find our selves lacking enough workers to harvest.

This morning, I want to encourage you that it doesn't matter the age which you have. Jeremiah was called when he was in his early twenties, it is believed he was 21, 22. Moses was called when he was 75 years so do Abraham. We see Saul converted and later called Paul while he was  an aged man, we see Simon Peter, Matthew, Luke, James and many others who Jesus called them in their middle ages and they did a wonderful work in the Kingdom of God.

Do not give a room to a Satan, do not let him to keep you away from fulfilling the purpose which God gave you. There are people out there who are waiting for you that they may hear the Good News of the Gospel from you and be saved. It's not to late, use whatever time is left in God's timeline of your life to tell someone that heaven is real and hell is real too. Tell someone about Jesus today, and God is going to bless you for your obedience.
