Morning with Ebenezer

THE PARABLE OF A SOWER-4

But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.  He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

Matthew 13:8-9 NKJV

Most of us we like to become powerful men and women of God.When we see someone is being used  mighty by God, in one way or another we desire to become like that person somewhere in our spiritual journey in life. Here Jesus was talking about those seeds which fell on good ground in other words which fell on good heart. He said these seeds gave out crops, and some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

Later He explained by saying,''As for what was sown on good soil, this is he who hears the Word and grasps and comprehends it; he indeed bears fruit and yields in one case a hundred times as much as was sown, in another sixty times as much, and in another thirty.(ve.23)
This means that the manifestation which was seen on good soil ( good heart), it depended to the amount of seeds which were sown.

That's why we find different spiritual levels of people in the church. Some are so deep and they have a great impact while others are moderate and they bring out normal impact. Jesus knew this from the beginning that's why He said in one case a hundred times as much as was sown, in other sixty times as much, and in other thirty.

This morning, I want you to know that the more you will feed yourself with the Word and prayer the more you will become effective in the work of God. If you are not reading the Bible, you live prayerlessness life, committing the same sins now and then, unable to forgive and let go those who hurt you in the past, allow your mouth to speak lies to others, and allowing the lust of the fresh to have control in you. You won't be able to be like that person who you admire and you wish some day to be like him in the Body of Christ.

If you want to see a hundredfold crops in your life, you need to put a hundred percent effort in seeking God. We all know that the grace of God is sufficient; but you need to work hard in order to get the best results at the end as Paul did than all the Apostles who was before him. In 1 Cor 15:10 the Bible says, ''But by the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not [found to be] for nothing (fruitless and without effect). In fact, I worked harder than all of them [the apostles], though it was not really I, but the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God which was with me.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord am asking that you may help me to be effective in your work that I may yield a hundred fold crops in your kingdom. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
