And this is the message I proclaim—that the day is coming when God, through Christ Jesus, will judge everyone’s secret life.

Secret by definition is something not known or seen or not meant to be known or seen by others: "a secret plan" or we can say is something that is kept or meant to be kept unknown or unseen by others: "a state secret". All of us have secret in our lives,we have somethings which we do not wish people to know them or understand them from us. Every family, ethnic groups or even a country have certain secrets which they do not wish to share with anyone outside.
Some secrets are not bad secrets because they distinguish us from others for example, trade companies have some secret which used as the device or a formula which gives a manufacturer advantage over competition. In the mean time there some secrets which we wish that no man would know them; because they contain some things which are not good to humanity but we deceive ourselves because God knows all things.
The Bible says that in the day of judgement, God through Christ Jesus will judge everyone's secret life. This means anything which your wife, husband, parents, co-workers, friends, church members and e.t.c do not know now, will be exposed to light in that day. God will put to light everything which men did in the darkness where they thought no one saw them and some prospered to keep those secrets till they die.
This morning, I want to challenge you to start consider that secret thing of yours. If you have any kind of secret life, secret sin, secret affair, or even secret plan against anyone which is not according to God's will for that person, this is the day to let it go. Let us examine ourselves, let us consider our ways, let us be honest to ourselves. If you know that you have anything which no one knows but you are sure it is not right for you to have it in your life, today is the time to leave it.
God will one day come to judge everything including our secrets. We need to repent from every dirty ways that we may inherit the kingdom of God. Jesus rebuked Pharisees in Matthew 23 because they pretended to be righteous religious leaders outside but they had their secret sins inside of them. He said if they will not repent, they will not inherit the kingdom of God. Do not be like one of those Pharisees this morning, but make you sure you surrender everything to Jesus in prayer.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I surrender this secret life of mine( mentions it all) and am asking forgiveness for pretending like all things are alright. Today I ask you to wash me by your blood Jesus and set me free from guilty and sorrow inside of me.In Jesus' Name, Amen.
