For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
1 Corinthians 1:18 KJV
The cross for years has been the sign of victory and power to people who believe in Christ who we are known as Christian. In that old rugged cross, is where we got our salvation and the right to be children of God. In that the same cross the son of man was slain for the remission of our sins.
The Bible says clear that the message of the cross is foolishness for those who are perishing; meaning all those who denies that Jesus came on the fresh and He was given birth by 14 years old virgin girl through the power of Holy Ghost. He lived and did all things like us but He did not sin, He was the Son of God but still He appeared in the human form just like us. He preached the message of Kingdom of God for three and half years and then He was crucified on the cross by those who hated Him.
The Devil knew that Jesus was done when He saw Him dying there on the old rugged cross. Later He was surprised when Jesus descended to the lower parts of the earth while having a witness with Him who was one of those two thieves who acknowledged Jesus and asked Him to remember Him and Jesus said that surely today you shall be with me in Paradise(Luke 23:43). He preached the Gospel to those people who died before Him in Paradise and He took away the authority which Satan had over mankind and in the third day He rose up and He is alive forevermore, Hallelujah!
That is Jesus whom we preach, there is a power in the cross of Jesus. There is power in the blood. This morning start your day by meditating the finished work of Jesus on the cross. When He has done all what His Father instructed Him to do, finally He said, ''it is finished'',(John 19:30). This means the war which your facing in your life right now, Jesus won it for you and no matter what you have been going through your victory was given freely there on the cross.
Don't be foolish but be wise by start believing in the power of the cross. The demons run away when they hear about the cross, Satan tremble and hide himself when He encounter someone who have been saved with that cross. Don't take it for granted, just know that no matter what agenda the devil will bring it forth before you; know that God has done it all there on the cross and He has given all things freely through the blood of the Lamb.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Heavenly Father, I thank You for the old rugged cross. Lord am asking that you may help me to understand and live the message of the cross, that I may be able to walk in your power. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
