Morning with Ebenezer

SOWING IN TEARS...

Those who sow in tears Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.

Psalm 126:5-6 NKJV

There is something about sowing in tears, all the people who sowed in tears in the Bible reaped with great joy in their hearts. Starting with Psalmist himself, who sowed 13 years in tears while he was chased by the king Saul. Later he came to reap a great kingdom and he became a great king in whom the Bible says before him and after him there will never happen a king who was after God's own heart like king David.

Another example is Jesus himself, the Bible says in Hebrews 5:7, ''who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear''. Jesus in the days of his the days of his fresh he offered prayers which were accompanied with fervent cries and tears to God. Some folks looked at him as a mad man cause he spent most of his time in the mount of Olives to pray all night; but God answered his prayers in extra-ordinary way, and that's why we call his name today as our Savior because we were born through those tears, Hallelujah!

There is something about sowing in tears, some miracles will not happen in our lives if we will not learn to humble ourselves and go before God with tears. This morning, you may be having a certain situation which have shown a persistent characters, you have done everything in your power to get rid of it but it's just getting worse.

I dare you this morning that you may try to go before God in tears and expressing all what you have been troubled with inside of you. Let that bitterness go, let that fear go, let that shame go away, and every kind of heaviness inside of you. Before you know it, you will start seeing your salvation comes, because if you surrender everything to God in prayers and let Him worry about life and not you. You give Him a chance to show Himself faithful to you.

****Morning Prayer****

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Now am asking that you may give me the great desire to live a prayerfully life from today that I may gain my total victories in life through my knees. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
