Morning with Ebenezer

VISION HAS ITS TIME

So Pharaoh sent for Joseph, and he was quickly brought from the dungeon. When he had shaved and changed his clothes, he came before Pharaoh.

Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I had a dream, and no one can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”

“I cannot do it,” Joseph replied to Pharaoh, “but God will give Pharaoh the answer he desires.”

Genesis 41:14-16 NIV

Joseph waited 13 years for his vision to come to pass. When he helped to interpret the dream of cup-bearer and chief baker, two years passed before cup-bearer remembered Joseph again. Pharaoh had a dream that none of his magicians were able to interpret.

The cup-bearer remembered Joseph and Pharaoh ordered Joseph to be brought from prison. The Bible teaches that, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” God was preparing Joseph in those 13 years that he may one day stand before Pharaoh and be rescue his family that was still in Canaan from famine. (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

I have met with young men and women who after they got the vision of their future; they immediately jumped into it. Many of them were disappointed and end up pursuing other endeavors because things didn't happen as they saw in their visions. These people failed to understand that there is a process involved before anything comes to its maturity.

That's why a mother waits 9 months before she give birth to her baby. There is a process that takes place for 9 months to prepare that baby to face the world. You will undergo a process before reaching where God wants you to be one day. If you run away from the process you won't reach your destiny in life.

This morning, I want to encourage you to wait patiently for your vision, for it will surely take place, it will not be delayed. Everything that happens right now in your life is preparing you to fulfill the purpose of your creation. Joseph came across many trials, temptations and hardships during those years but he trusted God and wait for his time.

I'm here to encourage you to wait, wait for the Lord. Whatever He has showed you will come to pass one day. In the mean time don't reject the process that will be involved before you see your vision come to life. You will never see the glory if you don't have a story. God is writing a good story for you that will surely have a happy ending.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to wait for the time that my vision will come to pass. Give me patience Lord, and help me to undergo the process with grace. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
