CARELESS WORDS
Now faith is the assurance
(title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the
evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends
as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. For by this
[kind of] faith the [a]men of old gained [divine] approval.
By faith [that is, with
an inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of
God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created
[formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of
God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:1-3 AMP
Faith is the assurance of
things hoped for, and the evidence of the things not seen. I will try to repeat
this definition over and over again in this series. I want you to be able to
understand it and store it in your heart. You will be able to exercise your
faith more effectively if you know what faith to beginning is.
Yesterday we talked about words;
we said the Bible says in Proverbs 18:21, “The tongue can bring death or
life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences”. We have killed many
things in our lives through our tongues; many beautiful relationships have been
dissolved because we didn't control our tongues. In the mean time we have given
life to many beautiful things because we used our tongues properly.
Who you are today, and what
you have in life is the result of the words that you spoke over your life.
There are some people who used to say they have short temper and after
sometimes they came to be known that way. Short temper became their label, and
hence everyone see them as short tempered people. I don't know what kinds of
words that you have been speaking over your life, that has ruined most part of
your life; but I'm here to help you break them.
This morning, I urge you to
break every deadly word that you have spoken over your life by the blood of
Jesus. I was thinking moving to another subject of faith, but the Spirit of God
didn't allow me; He wanted me to write something more about this area of words.
He says there are some of you stuck in some circumstances; because you spoke
some words in the past that came to create what you are wrestling with in the
present.
Some of you called yourself
looser that's why you are losing every side of your life. There are some of you
who said they don't have ability to love, that's why you can't love others and
you don't know why. There are some women who said to themselves, we have
everything and we don't need men we can take care of ourselves. Now the age is
advancing and no man seems to have any interest in you; because those words
stand in the spiritual realm and they automatically push even good men away.
Maybe your children are
acting crazy, because you said to them they are crazy; so now they just living your
words. You need to sit down and ask the Lord to remind you all those deadly
words you spoke over your life and lives of your loved ones. Then repent (change
your mindset); and ask God to forgive you for all careless words you spoke in
your life and start speaking against them. Speak blessings where you spoke
curse, speak life where you spoke death, speak victory where you spoke failure
and speak peace where you spoke hate. We will continue with this Faith

Pray this prayer with me by
faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Dear Heavenly Father, forgive
me for all idle words that I have spoken over my life and lives of others. Lord
I'm breaking those words by the blood of Jesus, I'm asking that You may wipe
away every kind of label that is over my life today; and all labels that I put
on others through my words by the blood of Jesus. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
