FAITH INTO ACTION

For just as the [human] body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works [of obedience] is also dead.

James 2:26 AMP

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen. The Bible as the human body without spirit is dead, so faith without works is also dead. God wants us to have faith but to put work after we have obeyed Him.

We have many people who pray day and night for better life but they are not willing to go and seek that life. It is easy to ask for the kingdom of God to come down, but not all people are willing to pay the price for that kingdom to come. Many wants to have good marriage and to get married to wonderful husbands and wives; but they are not willing to pay the price to get them.

We have people who want to be prayed for everyday and they seek people to pray for them that they may just sleep. When you believe God for something there is a part that you need to play. If you a student and you believe God to help you succeed in your studies then you need to listen your instructors patiently and make sure you study the materials you have been given.

This morning, I want to encourage you to put faith into actions. If you want to have that promotion in your work place, then you need to be willing to prove to your bosses that you are worth of that promotion. If you come late to work every day, take long lunches, spend the whole day on the Facebook, Instagram, and What's Up and put a less work than required. You will never get that promotion and you will continue blaming the devil for it.

Maybe you have finished Collage and you haven't got a job yet. Don't seat around everyday spending your whole day watching TV or spend it on the Social Medias that I have mentioned above. There are some young people who watch all kind of TV Series out there and they know the names of all Actors. If you have such attitude you will continue blaming the government; but in the reality you are wasting your time on many things that won't profit anything in the future.

If you don't have a job, spend your time developing yourself; and sometimes be willing even to do simple jobs that they may pay less while trusting God for your dream job. If you can't get even those kinds of job, then develop your talents. Study online courses, attend free workshops and seminars; and make sure that you learn something new every day that will help you in your future. Put actions in your faith and you will see God helping you to fulfill your dreams in life. We will continue with this Faith Series tomorrow. God bless you!

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Father, help me to put my faith into action. Help me to pursue what I believe knowing that You will help all the way. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
