PERSONAL FAITH
Now faith is the assurance
(title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the
evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends
as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. For by this [kind
of] faith the men of old gained [divine] approval.
By faith [that is, with an
inherent trust and enduring confidence in the power, wisdom and goodness of
God] we understand that the worlds (universe, ages) were framed and created
[formed, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose] by the word of
God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:1-3 AMP
Faith is the assurance of
things hoped for and the evidence of the things not seen. For by this this
faith man of old gained divine approval. The Bible talks about the men of old
or ancient’s people who obtained the good testimony through their faith. These
are the ones we read in the Holy Scriptures men who obeyed God and gained
approval before Him.
We are always encouraged to
have personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. We are being taught that
the faith of our parents, Churches or Pastors won't give us approval before
God. Many people don't understand that as much as it’s needed to have a
personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ by committing our lives to
Him. It is also needed to have a personal faith that will help you to overcome
all of your personal demons and fight against every devices of the evil one.
Many of us desire to be under
the Pastor who is anointed; or under a spiritual leader who can be an Apostle,
Prophet or Bishop who is so powerful. We think if we are under these powerful
men of God we will automatically get the anointing. It may be true in some
extent but there is a price to pay for you to get your own anointing. There is
a price to pay that you may have your personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
This morning, I want to
encourage you to develop your personal faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. If you
want to see God in another dimension of grace then you need to start trusting
Him in higher level than you do now. You will receive only those things that
you have the faith to receive. If you want to receive more things from God then
you need to read more the Scriptures and put into practices what they teach.
If you are renting a house
now and you want to have your own house in the near future. It is not enough
for a Pastor to put his hands on you and pray for you. You need to have faith
that you will have that particular house in few years from now. Start looking
for plots for house or if you want to buy a house; then start researching what
kind of house you will be able to afford. Tell God what area you want to live
and ask Him to reserve a place for you in that area. In the mean time start
saving from today that when time comes you may have enough to help you buy
things you need in your new house. Act by faith and God is going to reward your

Pray this prayer with me by
faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Dear Heavenly Father, I put
my faith in You. Lord I want to trust for everything in my life; help me to
walk by faith and not by sight. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
