LET LOVE GROW

This is my prayer for you: that your love will grow more and more; that you will have knowledge and understanding with your love; that you will see the difference between what is important and what is not and choose what is important; that you will be pure and blameless for the coming of Christ; that your life will be full of the many good works that are produced by Jesus Christ to bring glory and praise to God.

Philippians 1:9-11 ERV

One day Bill Graham said, as much as he is getting old, is the same the love of Christ keeps grow in him. Bill Graham who is now 94 years old, he had been preaching the Gospel from his youth and many were saved and gave their lives to Christ through his crusades which contacted throughout the world. He is the preacher of preachers, the Father of Fathers and the Pastor of pastors, I always thank God for this man.

The love of Christ in us, grows deeply when we continue walking with him in our daily basis. Like the way the love of a young man grows strongly as he get to know a the heart of a young girl. It is the same with the Lord, you will not understand him and love him as you should! If you will not give him a chance to prove to you that he is faithful God, forgiving one,protector, source of all good gifts, the restore and maintainer of peace in us and the provider of all our needs according to his riches and glory in Christ Jesus.

Before we knew the Lord, all of us were people of returning evil for evil.  Slap for slap and sword for sword. But when we knew him the love of our soul, somethings in us changed! We stopped talking some words which we used to say, we stopped going some places which we used to go!  And the strange thing is this: the hatred which we had against some people in our lives changed day after day in the point of forgiving them, pray for them and finally loving them for who they were!

Some of us tried to resist this change in us. We keep insisting the old self to remain without knowing that the Lord of New things is in control. We wanted to live the life which we had, say the words which we used to say but there was a watch man in us who did not give us peace to return in our corrupted past. Maybe you have been facing this kind of situation and you don't know what's wrong in you, and you have asked the Lord to show what is behind the curtain.

This morning, I have a word for you, that you need to let the love grow. You need to let Jesus, grow in you! You need to let him to remove the old you that the new you can be able to reign. You have been suffocating because you are forcing the new you to leave in the world of the old you. If you will let the love to do its work, your life will change, the war in you will stop and the Lord will give you peace.

The years before you in the Lord are better compare to all best years you had without him. If you have seen success without the Lord, just know you haven't seen nothing! If you had a good marriage without the Lord, just know that best days of your marriage are ahead of you with him. He is the Lord who changes everything, He is the Lord who loves you unconditionally. Let him grow in you, let his Holy Ghost guide you and give you peace which surpass all understanding.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that  you may help me to let your love grow in me.Help me to become more like you in each new day of my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
