Morning with Ebenezer

THE WORD OF YOUR TESTIMONY

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.

Revelation 12:11 NKJV

It amazes me to see people from different nations, tribes and languages together lifting their hands to praise and worship the same Savior who is Jesus Christ. From the Southern parts of Africa, to the Northern parts of Russia, all the way to the Western parts of Alaska (USA) to the Western parts of Australia up to New Zealand. The name of the Lord is being lifted high by those who have committed their lives to the one who has purchased them by his own blood, Jesus Christ the Son of God.

These people have one thing in common, all of them had a sinful past but now they are looking forward to the godly future in Christ Jesus. Once St. Augustine of Hippo said, "Every sinner has a past, and every saint has a future''. These people have the word of their testimonies, you can hear one says I was once an alcoholic, another I was a prostitute, some were thieves and other murders! But what they all proclaim is this, they have been forgiven, delivered and they are new creatures in Christ Jesus.

One of the weapon to overcome the whispering of the devil about your past sins; is the word of your testimony. When the devil reminds you about your past, you need to remind him about his future. You need to tell him that there is no condemnation[ judged guilty, punished for their sins] for those who are in Christ Jesus [ Romans 8:1]. You need to tell him the way Jesus changed you from being the slave of sins to become the child of the Most High God. Taken you from the high way to hell, changed your direction and now you are in the free way to Heaven.

This morning, God wants you to use the testimony of your life as the weapon to overcome the lies of the devil. When the fear of diseases shall come in like a flood, you need to think about the way God healed you in the past; and that healing is your right as the child of God which was given to you freely there on the old rugged cross. If God did for you yesterday, he will do it today and forevermore!

No matter what you are passing through right now; I want to encourage you to keep moving on, because you came from too far to give up here. Where God has brought you from, was far worse than where you are right now. God is taking you where ,"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him, 1 Corinthians 2:9."

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may give me strength to continue with this journey of my salvation. May your perfect will be done in my life that your Name may be glorified with all people. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
