Morning with Ebenezer

THERE IS GOD

God is our protection and source of strength.
    He is always ready to help us in times of trouble.
So we are not afraid when the earth quakes
    and the mountains fall into the sea.
We are not afraid when the seas become rough and dark

    and the mountains tremble. 

Psalm 46:1-3 ERV

The modern man likes to take all things in his own hands. Many have forgotten God and do things which are right in their own eyes. We see some who were born men are now turning themselves that they may look like women and women who want to be like men. The idea of Biblical marriage is distorted in the modern world; and now even people of the same gender can tie their knots.

There is a great increase in the rate of murder cases in the news; and we see different countries prepare to go to wars with others. There is a huge different between the rich and poor; and modern man support abortion to be used as the means of planning parenthood. In the same time we see dramas in the Church of Jesus Christ.

There are show off services instead of Holy Ghost oriented services. Believers are so in material things compared to their spiritual status. People are going to Churches that they may get miracles but not to have a personal relationship with the one who does miracles. Who once were strong believers are backsliding, while trying to confirm themselves with the way of the world. 

This morning, God wants you to know that He is still on the throne and He is still in control. Do not be afraid on how things are going out there and sometimes in the Church. God is the overseer of everything which takes place right now; and He is still responsible in taking care of His chosen ones in this world.

Start your day with joy knowing that God is still up there watching over your life. He knows what you are going through, He knows your pain, He knows how you are being tempted by the enemy. He will give you strength and the wisdom you need to overcome. He will preserve you until His coming, so encourage yourself knowing that He will never leave you or forsake you.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word. Lord I'm asking that You may continue holding me in your grace that I may be spotless and blameless until the day of your coming. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
