LOVE STANDS BY ITSELF 

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13:13 ESV

The Bible teaches that brotherly love should continue. Jesus taught that there were two greatest commandments which are: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”(Hebrews 13:1, Matthew 22:37-40)

In these two greatest commandments love is the main ingredient in them; they will all come to no effect if love will not be applied. When love is applied lives change, people are restored to their normality; and love is the language which even a deaf can understand. It has a character of defending itself, when love is in action no words are needed to make it heard by people.

Love is the only thing which can stand the fire of this life and at the end of the day retain its first origin. It was love which made God to win back the lost man from the devil. It is love which made this lost man to continue in Him; and this love of God will carry each one of us until the end of this age. It is love which make a man to live his parents and unite with his wife, that they may become one fresh.

This morning, God wants you to know that love stands by itself. It has its own language, influence and behavior. The believer who is full of love can not be possessed by a demon; demons are attracted in the areas where there is hatred, discord, jealousy, selfish ambition, envy and the like. But they will never find a room where there is love.

Choose love, make a genuine decision to walk in love today. Promise yourself that you will start loving your enemies, and pray for them that God may touch and change their lives. Let love take control over your life, let it to be the one which will encourage you to treat everybody right but not for your own selfish interest.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may teach me to love you with all of my heart and with all of my soul and with all of my mind. Then that I should love my neighbor as myself. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
