Morning with Ebenezer

THROW IN THE TOWEL

Be strong! Be courageous! Do not be afraid of them! For the Lord your God will be with you. He will neither fail you nor forsake you.”

Deuteronomy 31:6 TLB

Throw in the towel is the giving up in the face of defeat of lacking hope; admit defeat. Many Christians have thrown in the towel throughout the years; they accepted to be defeated in different arena of life. Many gave in to diseases, poverty, broken relationships, demonic possession and sin.

Maybe there is a certain area in your life which you have throw in the towel. You accepted the reality and with your own words admitted that you can not change so you will get used of it. Deep inside you know that is not right, you know that you need to stand up against that giant which has been defeating you and take your freedom back.

You know that Scriptures say you need to be strong and courageous. You have red that no matter what happens fear is not option; that you need to trust God in everything. You have been taught that God will be with you and He will neither fail you nor forsake you. But still you are weak, defeated and afraid of everything including your own shadow at night.

This morning, God wants you to take your towel and continue with the fight. It is not over until God say so; He is the one who will fight for your battles, if you will put your trust in Him. If there is a certain sin which you can not overcome; Jesus has already defeated all kinds of sins there on the old rugged wooden cross.

Stand up against that giant which has been oppressing you all this time. Tell whatever giant before you that there is a GIANT OF GIANTS inside of you. Jesus is the giant of giants in you; no matter what the devil has brought in your life, Jesus is the answer for it. Be strong! Be courageous! Knowing that God is a faithful God.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord give me strength to continue with my journey of salvation knowing that You will never leave me nor forsake me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
