REST FROM THEIR LABORS

For all who have entered into God's rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world.

Hebrews 4:10 NLT

Those who work most of the times are looking forward to their off days in the week that they may rest. When the time to go vacation comes there is unexplainable joy in most of them knowing that they are going to rest for the work of the whole year long.

There will be a rest for the people of God who have received Jesus as the Lord and Savior of their lives. We see there was a rest for Lazarus who feared God after his labor is this world. He went to sit in Abraham bosom but the rich man who ignored the things of God went to Hades. (Luke 16:19-31)

Sometimes in our walk with the Lord you may become so weary, thinking that there is nothing ahead of you. The way things appear to be difficult in this life, you may not be sure that all things will look like when you have finished your work in this world.

This morning, God wants you to know there will be rest for His people after they have finished their work. The Lord worked for six days and on the seventh day He rested from His labor. It will be the same to His people in this world, they will get their rest after they have finished their labor in this world.

I just want to encourage you to serve the Lord with gladness, knowing that your reward follows you. The God who we serve is the good God, He has prepared a place for you in His house. He will call your name when the time comes, do not be afraid He will help you to overcome every obstacle of this life that one day you may celebrate your victory before all angels in heaven.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Jehovah God, I thank You for your word. I'm just asking that You may give me strength to serve you in joyful of heart. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
