LEARN TO BELIEVE THE WORD
Then Jesus told him, “Go back home. Your son is healed!” And the man believed Jesus and started home. While he was on his way, some of his servants met him with the news that all was well—his son had recovered.
John 4:50-51 TLB
Many times we read the Word of God and just assume as it is a nice history book which shows how God started His creation, how man came into being and when this world will end. We see different miracles which Jesus did; and sometimes in one way or another we may think that those miracles, signs and wonders were only in the time of Jesus.
Some Christians are stuck in I can't live that life attitude; they think that it is impossible to live the life of faith which men and women of the Bible had during this age. Many have settled for less, they just want only to go to heaven even if they will be defeated by the enemy every now and then in this life.
When people of the world gather to complain against the government and leaders; also the people of God do the same. They don't know that they were given power to change things; to establish Kingdom of God in any area, and to conquer the forces of darkness and the spirits which dominates the nations of this world.
This morning, God wants you to learn to believe His Word. Don't just read the Bible as the fiction book or sweet love story book. For whatever God says to us is full of living power: it is sharper than the sharpest dagger, cutting swift and deep into our innermost thoughts and desires with all their parts, exposing us for what we really are.( Hebrews 4:12)
People believed the word of Jesus who is called the word of God and received their miracles. If you believe what is written in the scriptures, you will also receive your miracles and do everything which the word of God said you will do in this life.
