Morning with Ebenezer

STAY AWAY FROM THE KILLER

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 4:7 ESV

In the Bible Satan is called ''the ruler of this world'' (John 12:31; 14:30), ''the god of this world''( 2 Cor 4:4), ''an angel of light''(2 Cor 11:14), the commander of the powers in the unseen world''( Ephesians 2:2), and he is ''like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour''( 1 Peter 5:8)

The devil schemes against believers (2 Cor 2:11; Eph 6:11), hinders us( 1 Thes 2:18), accuses us (Rev 12:10), and blinds the minds of the lost(2 Cor 4:4). Jesus refers him as a thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy.THE END, Mark Hitchcock

He is the trouble maker from the beginning. He will continue with his campaigns until He will be totally defeated by Christ Himself after the end of Millennium kingdom( the reign of one thousand years with Christ). The Bible teaches us to resist Him, to stand against His works and destroys his strongholds.

This morning, God wants you to know that submission to Him is the key to victory over the enemy. When we learn to be submissive to God and obey what the Word says; we get the access to exercise the authority which is found in the word of God more effectively. Faith will increase when you will know that God is omnipotent( all powerful); and the devil is a defeated foe from the beginning.

We need to stay away with this killer, who kills our dream, relationships, success and destroy our future. We need to learn to be submissive to God everyday, letting Him to take control over our everything and that He may lead our lives. In this way the devil will flee and he won't be able to touch our stuffs because God will be in control.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may help me to be submissive to You. Teach my heart to obey your Word and follow all of your judgments. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
