SEED OF REBELLION

So Samuel said:

“Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices,

As in obeying the voice of the Lord?

Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice,

And to heed than the fat of rams.

For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft,

And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.

Because you have rejected the word of the Lord,

He also has rejected you from being king.”

1 Samuel 15:22-23 NKJV

Prophet Samuel compared rebellion as the sin of witchcraft. We are living in a rebellious generation in which disobeying the law and going against the value of the society is a common thing. Everybody does what is good in his/her own eyes. There is no respect for elders and parents are being ignored by young people for their old school mentality.

This seed of rebellion was planted in us while we were still young and without the help of God it can spread and affect many who are innocent. This rebellion is one of the problem in the Church of Jesus Christ. Many rebel against their Pastors and Spiritual leaders, that's why we have explosion of many small ministries because many of the leaders of those ministries rebelled against their spiritual Fathers.

The devil plants the see of rebellion in the hearts of believers that he may divide and conquer. This seed if planted in a family bring forth division and at the end of the day that family will be torn apart because of their rebellion. Some have rebelled against the will of God in their lives and which gave the devil to have total control over them because they rejected God.

This morning, God wants you to break the seed of rebellion in you by the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus has the power to wash a rebellious heart and make it white as the snow. There is power in the blood which can break the curse of rebellion which has been troubling your family. Nothing else but the blood of Jesus can change the rebellious heart to obedient one.

If you see any sign of rebellion in the Church or your local fellowship just apply the blood of Jesus that you may break that flow. Obedience is the main key to success in spiritual things; if we obey God, He will come and reveal Himself to us. If we rebel against Him, He will reject us. Learn to obey God and authority and your life will be full of peace.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord please forgive me the time I rebelled against your will. Teach my heart to obey you and follow what You command me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
