Morning with Ebenezer

CONSIDER YOUR END

And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved

Matthew 10:22 NKJV

It is amazing how people consider the end than the beginning. If you ask a divorced couple they will not tell you about their early days which they had fun and enjoyed each other; but each one of them will tell you why they ended up in divorce. It is easy for people to remember the end than the beginning.

You may do thousand good things to someone but if you will do one bad thing at the end; it will ruin the every good things which you have ever done for that person. The end is most important than the beginning; though the beginning is the foundation of everything. If you mess up the foundation the whole process will be poor.

There are some of us who started well with the Lord, walked in the Spirit all the time. We prayed in every opportunity we got and the hand of the Lord was mighty upon us. After some years, the things of God came to be normal daily routine, we started doing in our way but not God's. We started in Spirit and now we want to be completed in the fresh.

This morning, God wants you to consider your end. He wants you to put efforts that you may finish well regardless how you once began. Athletes put all their efforts to win when they are approaching the finishing line that they may get the perishable crown; but for us who trust in Christ Jesus will get the nonperishable crown of life if we win in our race.

Have you been slowing in your walk with the Lord? The Bible says who will be faithful until the end will be saved, (Heb 3:14, Rev 2:10, Matthew 10:22). Like the way the world looks at what you did at the end of everything, is the same the Lord will look if you were faithful unto death. May God give you strength to return again in the Spirit and walk faithful with Him as you once did.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your Word. Lord I'm asking that You may forgive me for walking in the fresh all this time. Help me to start walking in the Holy Spirit, that I may finish in the Spirit as I once started in You. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
