Morning with Ebenezer

Then the LORD asked him, "What is that in your hand?" "A shepherd's staff," Moses replied.

Exodus 4:2 NLT

Resources are limited in this world while human wants are unlimited. In life you won't have enough resources to use and make your life the way you want it to be. God has given us the same amount of time, 24 hours a day. You can use that time to maximize your potential or just sleep and end up blaming other for your failures.

Both rich men or poor men have been given the same time by God. I have learnt that God is using what we have in our disposal to bless us. He asking Moses, "What is that in your hand?" A shepherd's staff," Moses replied. He wanted to know what Moses had before using him; God used that staff to do wonders before Pharaoh, it was the one which Moses pointed over the see; and the Lord caused the sea to back by strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were dived. (Exodus 14:21)

Arthur Ashe says, "Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can." Sometimes people think in order for them to be successful business men they need to wait until they are rich enough and start a business. Sometimes we think in order to get married we need to have everything in life, good house, cars and a fat bank account. Sometimes other things comes when we take a leap of faith, and trust known God for unknown future.

This morning, God wants you to use what you have in your disposal for His glory. You can use your life experience, education, environment and character to bless others. You don't need to have what so and so have to serve God and others. You can use any gift you have to show others the love of God.

Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can. If you want to make changes in your life, make them today. Don't wait for tomorrow because tomorrow is never promised to anybody. There are some people who say daily that they will start a diet and exercise that they may lose weight. Each new day they come up with excuses; but for those who real want to do so they always find a room to make changes.

****Morning Prayer****

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer...

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for your word. Lord help me to make changes in my life. Help me to use what I have in me and around me to bring glory to your name. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
