IT WILL MAKE ROOM

A man’s gift makes room for him,

And brings him before great men.

Proverbs 18:16 NKJV

Most of the time we confuse between our work and our jobs in life. If you ask someone, he will tell you all of them mean the same. The truth of the matter is, a job is the one that makes you to wake up early in the morning; and spend your whole day somewhere if you prefer your office and get paid at the end of the week, weeks or month.

Work is something that God wanted you to do in this world. People can fire you from your job but no one can fire you from your work. In other words, your work is enclosed in your gift. I personally believe God has given each one of us a gift. God has given us something that when we do, we get the satisfaction in life.

The Bible teaches us that a man's gift makes room for him, this gift can be anything. There are people who have gifts of Music, and people pays a lot of money to go and see them. We pay money to go and see athletes using their gifts. You may be none of the above; but I believe there is a gift inside of you that needs to come out.

This morning, I want you to ask the Lord to show you the gift in you. Your gift may not be preaching, writing, music, praying for others, performing miracles and wonders, may not be healing or even prophecy. It may be as simple as sowing, event planning, ability to take care and communicate with children, cooking, hospitality and etc...

One thing I want you tell you is that the world need someone like you. Your world will be a better place if you will exercise your gift in its fullest. The gift that is in you will bring you before great men. People will know if you are not around, if your gift is cooking then people will know that you haven't been in the kitchen; if they eat something else that is not yours. If God gave you ability to take care and communicate with children, even great men will bring their children to you. So use whatever you have for the glory of God.

Pray this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....

Dear Heavenly Father, help me to discover my gift. Help me to use it effectively after I have discovered it for the extension of your kingdom on this earth. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
