Morning with Ebenezer

SERVE THE LORD

Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Psalm 100:2-3 NKJV

We have many folks who don't like their jobs. They always complain about their jobs and blame everyone in their lives for whatever they have failed in life. I have learnt that if you don't like what you are doing in life; it's better to have a positive attitude because it will make your life much easily.

The Bible teaches us to serve the Lord with gladness, there are some people who were born in religious families; and serving the Lord in a certain way seemed like a noble thing to do. The community around them encouraged them to go to religious organizations; and serve God even if they don't felt that way inside.

This led to the rise of generation of the ministers who don't like the work they do for the kingdom. They ended up mistreating people and abusing some who came to them for help. That's why we heard many scandals in religious organizations of ministers who abused children and young people.

This morning, I want to encourage you to serve the Lord with gladness. Serve Him in the area that He has called you. Your blessings are where He wants you to serve. You have a unique thing to share in the body of Christ. God has given you something that we all need; that's why you have finger prints that no one else have on this earth.

Serve Him today, be glad to be in the house of the Lord. God will bless if you will give yourself completely to Him. When you go before Him, thank Him for giving you another chance of seeing this day. Praise Him and let Him be God in your life by obeying His will in your life.

****Morning Prayer****
