HAVE
YOU CHANGED?
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things
have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
We hear many testimonies of people who gave their lives to
Jesus and experienced tremendous changes in their lives. I can be one of those
people, every time I look back; I say to myself if it was not for the Lord on
my side, then I wouldn't be here today.
I have seen the way the Lord worked in Him stage by stage in
the direction of where He wants me to be one day. What I have learned is that
changes don't take a single night; it takes time, and it involves a particular
person working hand with hand with our Lord Jesus Christ.
There some folks in the body of Christ who have been
Christians for years. It reached a point that they don't have the same fear
they once had when they received the Lord. They don't follow what the Bible
says as they used to do; as the results whatsoever changes they experienced for
being in Christ now can no longer be seen. They take things of God for granted,
justify their life styles by the word of God; and as the result they mislead
young Christians.
This morning, I want to ask you if you have been changed by
the Lord Jesus. If He has changed your heart, then you need to live the life
worth of your calling in Him. God wants you to continue working on your
salvation, keep on asking Him to help you overcome your weaknesses and heal
your inner wounds. Everyday ask Him to change you that you may become like
Jesus in every aspect of your life.
In your walk with the Lord learn to be like this person
described in Isaiah 66:2b, ".....I will pay attention to those who are
humble and sorry for their sins and who tremble at my word." Humble
yourself before the God of heavens and earth; and allow His Holy Spirit to
change you and make you whole. Allow Him to touch your inner most being that He
may restore all what has been broken by the enemy that you may enjoy the
fullest of life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
****Morning
Prayer****
Pray
this prayer with me by faith and God is going to answer your prayer....
Dear Father, I'm asking that You may touch me once again
today. Help me to be willing to accept the corrections of your Holy Spirit that
I may continue to grow in Christ Jesus my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' Name,
Amen.
